The School Improvement Council (SIC) is an advisory council to the principal and school that discusses issues related to school improvement.  The council is made up of the principal (who is the ex-officio),  parents, teachers, and occasionally students.  Its yearly goal is to create goals closely aligned to the school's 5-year plan and to create an "Annual Report to Parents" that must be published on the state website for School Improvement Council. Kennedy's SIC meets the third Tuesday monthly @ 4:30 PM in the school library, but meetings are subject to change.
