Degrees and Certifications:

BA-Early Childhood Education Certified 4.0 Evaluator CERRA Mentor

Mrs. Alice Bryant

I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina-Aiken with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching since 2007. I have taught 1st grade (2 years) and 2nd grade (14 years). This coming year will be my 17th year teaching in Aiken County and my 6th year teaching at Millbrook Elementary.

I am married to my husband, Bradley and we have one daughter, Brooklynne. We have a 12-year-old cat, Lacy, and a 2-year-old dog, Nala.  We love traveling, spending time with our families and watching sports (GO TIGERS!).

I am looking forward to working with you as a partner in educating your child. My goal is to facilitate learning in an exciting and fun way. As an educator, it is my job to see that your child becomes a lifelong learner. To achieve this, it is essential that we work together to ensure that your child is working to his or her potential in a successful and meaningful way.  Each second grader this year will discover the job of learning while gaining confidence through successful experiences. This is a year of transition where skills introduced in second grade are fine-tuned and applied across the curriculum. Students will develop an awareness of the world around them as they develop emotionally, socially, and academically.

You may contact me at the school at (803) 641-2580.  You can also email me at

"Millbrook is a ClassDojo school.  ClassDojo is an online platform that provides teachers and families with the opportunity to come together to share kids' most important learning moments in school and at home - through photos, videos, messages, and more.  Important dates and assignment information will be shared through ClassDojo.  If you would like an invitation to our class, please e-mail a request to me directly."
