Ms. Tabitha Laudenslager
Ms. Laudenslager graduated from USC Columbia with a BFA in Art Education and a concentration in drawing and painting. She has lived all over South Carolina and many other states in the southern United States. She is a professional artist who works primarily in commisioned pet portraits, but enjoys painting and drawing other animals and subject matter as well. Ms. Laudenslager also works as an advocate for animal rescue in her spare time.
She is excited to start her 5th year teaching at Aiken Middle. Ms. Laudenslager is devoted to seeing her students excel in all areas of academia, not just her Visual Arts classes. She created the curriculum for Aiken Middle School's Gifted and Talented Visual Arts program, which includes an 8th grade ART 1 high school credit course. Ms. Laudenslager also chairs the AMS Arts Steering Committee and serves as Coach for our Aiken Middle School Academic Team.
Ms. Laudenslager can be contacted via email at anytime. She believes parent communication and involvement is a key component in student success. Her planning is from 8:30am to 9:15am daily.
Email is the best way to reach Ms. Laudenslager in a quick and efficient manner.
