My name is Tracy Johannsen and I have been teaching at North Augusta Elementary for many years.  I have had the privilege of teaching many diffrent grade levels. I have taught 4th grade, 5th grade ELA to all girls, Gifted and Talented, and Computer Writing Lab for grades 1-5.  I graduated from North Augusta High School in 1993. Then I attended Coastal Carolina University and University of South Carolina-Aiken and earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  In 2004, I graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with a master's degree in Elementary Education.  I have also earned and successfully renewed my National Board Certification in Middle Childhood Generalist.  I enjoy teaching and look forward to teaching your child.

     I am married to Steve Johannsen.  We enjoy spending time together going to various sporting events. My favorite place to visit is golf courses and Myrtle Beach. During the summer, I can only be found in Myrtle Beach. I leave the day after school is out and I return the weekend before school starts back. The relaxation of camping and the sound of the waves help rejuvenate me and get ready for a new school year.
