Mrs. Emily Smith
Welcome to North Augusta Elementary School! My name is Emily Smith and I have the great pleasure of teaching children with special needs in a FUN- filled classroom. This year marks my 8th year in teaching. In addition to the sweet children, I am fortunate to collaborate with an incredible team of experts to include Mrs. Felicia Kennedy (para-aide), Ms. Kelli Walpole (para-aide), Mrs. Katie Johnson (Occupational Therapist), Mrs. Julie Reeves (Physical Therapist), Ms. Lynne Sharpe (Program Specialist), several speech therapists, and all the autism therapists in this amazing field of speical education. I look forward to an awesome school year!
If you need to reach me, I am usually available for a phone call from 2:30-3 pm. Email is a good option as well to reach me, since I check my email throughout the day as well as before and after school.

Summer is around the corner...while I will be able to spend time with my family, I will also be working on items for the classroom. I have been working on adaptive books and a variety of activities for our class. I am looking forward to coming back in the fall and being able to hopefully be with our students everyday.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me any time. I try to respond within 24 hours.
