Hello all, I want to tell you a little about myself.  I am originally from Baton Rouge, La. (LSU fan by blood), moved to North Augusta, and eventually moved to the Aiken area.  My husband used to own a restaurant in the Aiken area, but now has thankfully retired and works for Lionel Smith , Ltd.  I have 2 grown kids; one is married and living in Atlanta, the other is living in Arizona.  I am a grandmother to two sweet little girls; one is about to turn 4 and the other is about to turn 1 years old.    I have been a teacher at Millbrook for 25 years; I first taught second grade for 7 years and have been teaching first grade for the remaining time I have been here. I attended USC at Aiken and am a Gamecock fan whole heartedly.  I do enjoy teaching at Millbrook because I think the faculty is the best!

I am excited about the summer this year because my family and I are taking a trip to the Glacier mountains. I can't wait! I do travel as much as I can with my family and wouldn't have it any other way.
