Ridge Spring - Monetta Athletics
June, 2020: To quote a familiar work, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." We saw it all this year at Ridge Spring Monetta HS this year. Moving into a new building, new athletic complex, playing for a state championship, then COVID-19 shut down school and all spring sports. What a year we have had. Now, as summer begins, we are eagerly anticipating the return of high school sports, getting back on our new field for a full season, repeating a trip to the state finals, hosting games in our new gymnasium, and turning on the lights on our baseball and softball fields.
Through it all, our TROJAN PRIDE never wavered. Our focus continues to be on motivating the student-athlete to be their very best on a consistent basis, both on the field and in the classroom. As we continue this journey together, I would like to encourage Ridge Spring-Monetta student-athletes to play hard, play fair, and dedicate yourself to be the best you can possibly be, but most importantly, have fun. The rewards will stay with you for the rest of your life. As you step on the field of play, always remember that you are a representative of the “Ridge Spring-Monetta Community”. Make your school, parents, and the community proud. So put on your game face and let the excitement and competition of this new school year begin.
On behalf of our coaches, athletic boosters, volunteers, students and alumni, we welcome you to Ridge Spring-Monetta and thank you for your support. I encourage those young and old to learn more about Ridge Spring-Monetta and to become part of the Trojan family as a student, parent, supporter or fan. #TrojanStrong
