Mrs. Kimberly Parrish

School's out for Summer!  This was quite an interesting end to my ninth year of teaching!  I will continue working to create math curriculum this summer with other teachers on the Curriculum Team for Aiken County.  This summer I also plan to find some good yard sales and drink plenty of Dunkin Donuts iced coffee!  The rest of my Summer to-do list includes relaxing with some good books in my hand and spending time traveling with family and friends.  At home, my husband and I spend time with our two shih tzu dogs, Reesi and Hershey.  They are totally spoiled rotten!  Although it may seem far into the future, I'm looking forward to this school year and working with new students and their families.

I am local to the area, and I attended Aiken County Public Schools during my K-12 education.  Furthermore, I attended the University of South Carolina Aiken and am proud to "give back" to the community by teaching in Aiken County's elite public education system.  I also earned my Master's degree in Divergent Learning through Columbia College.  The 2020-2021 school year will be my tenth year in the classroom.  I've had the opportunity to teach at 2 schools within the district, and I currently teach 4th grade math and science.

Although I've not yet updated my school supply list and websites for the year, feel free to look at those resources from last year to get an idea.  Also, to help students be the most successful in 4th grade math, please work on memorizing multiplication facts, preferably up to 12 over the Summer.

Dr. Burton and I can't wait to see you soon!
