Welcome to Kindergarten!  I graduated from USC-Aiken with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education in 1999.  It's hard to believe this is my 19th year teaching at Aiken Elementary.  I taught 1st grade and Kindergarten here at Aiken El.  In between teaching 5K and 1st grade, we lived in Wisconsin where I worked at a daycare for 3 years.   I have absolutely loved working with young children for as long as I can remember.   My husband Cam and I have been married for 21 wonderful years.  We have twins in 11th grade at South Aiken High School.  I love spending time with my family as well as our two fur babies, Avery and Charlie.  In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and reading.  We love traveling and Siesta Key Beach in Florida is our absolute favorite place.

I love seeing how much children grow during the course of a school year.  It still amazes me on a daily basis.  I am super excited to get to know you and your child this year.  I am looking forward to helping your child grow both academically and socially.  I cannot wait to meet my new little kinders and see what the 2022-2023 school year holds!
