In Aiken, South Carolina where I was raised

On the soccer field was where I spent most of my days

Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool

And scoring some goals for my high school

When my interest in Art turned out to be good.

Started making artwork throughout my neighborhood

I got in one little show and everyone saw I was no sucka

Parents said, "You're movin' to the University in Augusta"

In four years graduated with my B.F.A

After graduating, I did not know what to do that day

If anything I could say that I was no Busta

But I thought, "Nah, forget it"

"Yo, I’ll teach at North Augusta"

I have been teaching here now for 8 or 9

And I remind the students, being on time is must a

I looked at my school

I was finally there

To sit on my throne as one of the Art Teachers of North Augusta
