I have been teaching English at North Augusta High School since 1998, and I have taught public speaking, literature, and composition at the college level for the past thirteen years.  In fact, over this past summer, I taught composition to college freshmen in California.  My wife and I have been married for twenty-two years, and we have two awesome children, a seventeen-year-old son and a fourteen-year-old daughter.  My study of Language and Literacy at the University of South Carolina has increased my passion for teaching students the joy of reading and the power of language.  I look forward to another excellent year.
