Greetings,

My name is Mr. Latimer Blount, Jr. and I would like to welcome everyone back for the 2022-23 school year.  This is my twenty-third year at NAMS and I'm looking forward to another phenomenal experience! I will be teaching sixth grade English Language Arts.

I proudly graduated Paine College cum laude with a degree in English and a Master's degree in education from Southern Wesleyan University. 

Though my primary hobby is watching/cheering my beloved Atlanta Falcons I also enjoy taking weekend nature walks, treks to the beach, and examining popular culture through a variety of mediums. Since I have no progeny, I consider the students of NAMS as my own.
