Mrs. Kristine Pencille

My name is Kristine Pencille. I earned my Elementary Education degree in western New York and received my Master's degree at the University of South Carolina. Go Gamecocks! I am married to my college sweetheart. We have two adult children, one dog, two cats and LOVE the beach and Disney!

This is my third year at Millbrook Elementary and my 28th year teaching in Aiken County. In my 28 years, I have taught all age groups and really strive to push my students to reach their fullest potential. Every student brings their own special gifts to the classroom and I love having a job where I get to discover and develop those gifts every day. Your child’s educational success is my top priority. My role is to guide them and provide them with the tools they need to become independent, lifelong learners.

Millbrook is a ClassDojo school.  ClassDojo is an online platform that provides teachers and families with the opportunity to come together to share kids' most important learning moments in school and at home - through photos, videos, messages, and more.  Important dates and assignment information will be shared through ClassDojo.  If you would like an invitation to our class, please e-mail a request to me directly.

    Please make sure to sign up for the Class Dojo app. Our classroom will be utilizing ClassDojo for behavior management. Students will earn points that correlate with the school-wide discipline plan. ClassDojo allows parents to easily communicate with teachers through messages, see photos of students' activities in the classroom, and check in on their child's behavior at anytime throughout the day. The best part about ClassDojo is that it is free, and can be accessed from any internet-friendly device. There is even a free app that will send you notifications of your child's behavior throughout the day.

    I will be posting the weekly newsletter, important dates and info on ClassDojo throughout the year, so it is very important to register your parent account as soon as possible.   • Amazon Class Wishlist

    Please help me bring magic and wonder to my 2nd grade students by donating to our classroom.
