Bachelors in Speech-Language Pathology Certified Preschool Special Education Teacher
Mrs. Callie Arbaugh
Hey! My name is Callie Arbaugh (Mrs. A). I am a Speech-Language Therapist and I spend most of my time working with the younger students at Jefferson. I am also a certified Preschool Special Education teacher. The first part of the school day you can find me in my classroom singing, dancing, exploring, and learning with my class of preschoolers. The second part of the school day, you may see me in various places around the school, as I also serve preschool-1st grade students for their itinerate speech and language needs. I am excited about this school year as I get to interact with many unique students and experience the joy of learning with them!
This is my 7th year working as a Speech-Language Therapist and my 3rd year as a Preschool Special Education Language Class therapist/teacher. I graduated from Columbia College with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. I have worked for Aiken County since I graduated in 2010. Jefferson is my home away from home. I consider the teachers, staff members, and students to be my extended family. I am a native of Rock Hill, South Carolina. Upon taking a leap of faith and moving to Aiken for my job, I met my husband (Brett) and had my dream wedding in March 2014. Brett and I have 1 fur baby, Kya, that brings us so much happiness and love. Brett and I enjoy sports, especially when it involves cheering on our favorite teams, the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Atlanta Braves.
I hope this quick snap shot has helped you get to know me a little better. I am looking forward to another exciting school year and creating more special bonds with students and their families. I hope that you will feel right at home with us here at Jefferson, as we are all one big family.
