This is my 25th year teaching in Aiken county and my 16th year at South Aiken. I am the former math department head and will teach Algebra II Honors during my last year before I begin my next adventure as a retiree from the public school system that will allow me to become a full-time grandmother of 4. I am orginally from Tennessee (Go VOLS!) and have made Aiken my home for 34 years. I hold a B.S. in secondary math from USC-Aiken and a Master's in Eduction from SWU. I am a former Volleyball, Softball, and Mu Alpha Theta coach for South Aiken. I look forward every day this year to teaching and witnessing the progress of each student. It is my desire to see that each student becomes successful and confident in the field of mathematics and life. Together we will have a successful year and I will cherish every moment that I will spend with my last class.
