I am a native of Greenville, SC, but I have lived most of my life in Aiken. I was educated in Aiken County schools and graduated from South Aiken High School in 2002.  After high school I matriculated to the University of South Carolina-Aiken where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a Social Studies emphasis.  For the first six years of my career I served as a teacher at Strom Thurmond High School in Edgefield, SC.  During my time in Edgefield I received my Masters degree in Education from Augusta University.  For the last eight years I have been blessed to return home and serve as a teacher here at South Aiken.  I am married to my beautiful wife and have two beautiful daughters.
