Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Gracie Blackwell

Greetings! Thanks for stopping by and visiting my website. This is my 4th year teaching Biology at AHS and my fifth year in the classroom. I am excited to be part of the inagural Cambridge IGSCE course in the state of South Carolina. I am extremely passionate about my career and I love educating young minds about the natural world we live in! My motto is that students learn by doing and expereincing, so you'll often find my classes outside, in the lab and up moving around. At AHS, I serve as  the IGSCE-Extended Biology instructor, Freshman Executive Committee Adviser  and Student Council Adviser. My hobbies include reading, spending time outdoors, kayaking, hiking, cooking, playing with my two dogs (Mollie & Jordan), bird watching (Yay! Ornithology) and spending time with my friends and family.

I will try to keep this website as up to date as possible. Please view the tabs on the left side of the screen to view our class calander, lesson plans and resources.

All lesson plans will be uploaded to schoology.
