I am pleased that you are visiting my page.  Whether you are one of my students, a family member, a community member, a former student or just a curious seeker, welcome! I am entering my 19th year at AHS, and I love our school. I currently teach Cambridge A Level Language, Cambridge AS Level English General Paper and Yearbook.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.  I was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated from the University of New Mexico.  I have also attended USCA where I received my English certification.  After a twenty-year career in mental health, I changed professions and entered teaching. In addition to my professional background, my experiences living among diverse cultures in and outside of the United States bring a great deal of global knowledge and diversity to the classroom.  My classes are demanding and rigorous, but I am fair and accessible throughout the school year. I expect a great deal of discussion and participation.  All beliefs and opinions are respected.  I love to teach, and I find education rewarding! Welcome!
