I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and express my excitement about
working with your child/children this year. I am a seventh-year teacher that enjoys teaching
and offering several after school activities at Silver Bluff. I serve as our Sophomore Class
Sponsor, Academic Team Coach, Robotics Team Sponsor, and a Life Long Recycling
Warrior. I am also our PTSO secetary and encourge parents, student, and teachers to take
part of our community outreach and school improvement projects. I am proud to be a
I am from Augusta, Georgia and I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Engineering
from the University of Georgia and a Masters in the Art of Teaching in Secondary Biology
from Augusta State University. I love the arts and creating in my spare time along with
being an avid animal lover. I am certified in General Science and can teach and tutor any
subject in the Science Department and am always willing to learn with the student when
they need help. I am excited to teach Honors Chemistry, AP Physics, and CP Chemistry

Schoology announcements and updates can be linked to your phone using
the following steps:
1. Click your name in the top right corner in Schoology and select Settings.
2. Click the Notifications tab.
3. Click the drop-down menu next to the notification you'd like to change.
4. Select On (receive from all sources), Off (the default), or Custom
(pick and choose the sources).
5. Click Save Changes at the bottom
How content on remote learning days will be delivered:
This year I will use Schoology to deliver content, assignments, and push out messages
along with Microsoft Teams to host Live sessions/office hours. Login Information and links
can be found below. We will be opperating on a Hybrid Teaching Model and I plan to teach
in staggard weeks as we use Hybrid Student Group Plan.
Blue - Face to Face Mondays and Tuesdays
Red - Face to Face Wednesdays and Thursdays
The rest of the week will be remote learning

*students may choose which works best for their learning style

4) Scientific Calculator for all Chemistry Courses
*Suggestion is TI-30IIx or Higher
5) Optional, but highly encouraged: Individual pack of color pencils
