Redcliffe Elementary Media Center                                                              

The Redcliffe Media Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am - 2:15pm for students.

The library is on a fixed schedule from 7:50 - 2:10 each day, seeing all classes 5K - 5th grades every week.

Students 1st - 5th grade are allowed to check out two books at a time; K5 can check out one. Students can come to the media center with teacher permission whenever they need new books. Books are due back in one week, and most can be renewed for an additional week.

The media center has 13 computers with internet available for research and classroom-related activities. Classes and individual students can come to the media center for literacy, technology, and research related lessons and assistance. We welcome and enjoy collaborating with classes on their projects and writing.  Students are welcome to bring in their laptops to work or test.
Parents are welcome to contact the Media Center. We can help them with questions about our collection and assist them concerning their child's assignments.

Mrs. Angie Moorhead has been our media specialist for 13 years, but has been at Redcliffe starting 24 years, teaching in kindergarten, 1st and 4th grades. She enjoys the media center where she gets to work with all students and teachers in the school, helping them choose books for reading enjoyment and assignments. She also loves to help with research projects using quality print resources and educational sites on the internet to gather information.

Mrs. Ashley Chandler is starting her 7th year in the Media Center as the library assistant. She also enjoys seeing and working with all of the students, and is available to help with any library needs.
