Hello NEMS Students and Families! My name is Amy Shepler and I'm the Digital Arts teacher. I have a BS in Visual Communication Design and an MEd in Instructional Technology. This is my 18^th year in education.

I am very excited to teach this brand new course for the 2022-2023 school year. In Digital Arts we learn how to apply the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to create digital works of art including illustrations, manipulating photos, designing logos, and more. We're also going to dabble in animations and possibly some movie making! 

In my spare time, I like to hang out with my husband and 2 children. We spend a lot of time playing and watching sports and we all love to try new foods.
