Hello everyone! My name is Arlo Moody and this is my very first year teaching! I teach 5k-5th grade music here at Greendale. I am originally from Southwest Virginia, having grown up in the New River Valley my entire life. I have just graduated from Radford University with my Bachelors in Music Education, and I've played trumpet for ten years. Music has always been a huge part of my life; as soon as I was able to pick up music, I never stopped. 

I am trained in Music Learning Theory and have experience teaching Orff, Kodály, and Dalcroze methods. I am a member of the Gordon Institute for Music Learning (GIML), the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), and the Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA). I have also presented at GIML and VMEA in 2021.
