I am excited about beginning my second year at Kennedy Middle School, where I will be teaching Language Arts 7 and Language Arts 7 Advanced. I spent my first few years as an educator teaching 6^th and 7^th grade language arts in San Antonio, Texas. I’m certified in Language Arts 4-8, English as a Second Language, and Special Education.

I grew up in Florida and earned my undergraduate degree at Stetson University. I met my husband, Christopher, while attending Stetson. We have two cats named Peanut and Smokey. We love traveling and spending time with family and friends.

My hobbies are reading, arts and crafts, and learning about new technology. I love DIY projects and make a lot of the decorations for my classroom.
