Hi! My name is Carol Rivers Holt and I love teaching!  I am a native of Aiken County, but a local resident of Augusta, Georgia. I graduated from Columbia College in 1991 and began my teaching career at  Ridge Spring Monetta Elementary School for two years.  After two years at RSM Elementary, I transferred to the Richmond County School System in Augusta, Georgia where I was an educator for 28 years. While teaching in Richmond County, I pursued my Doctor of Education from Georgia Southern University in 2012.   In 2021, I retired from the Richmond County School System and return to Aiken County.

As I enter my 32nd year as an educator, I am excited about teaching. I believe that all students can learn if they are given the opportunity.
