My name is Dawn Valentine, and I will be teaching 8^th Grade Science. I graduated from USCA in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Level Education with a concentration in Middle Level Math and Science. Since graduating I have taught 7^th and 8^th grade science, Math Remediation, and STEM classes. I have had the pleasure of teaching at Langley-Bath-Clearwater Middle School at the start of my career, and I am looking forward to my first year teaching at Kennedy Middle School for the 2021-2022 school year.  

In eighth grade science we will cover a range of topics including Forces and Motion, Waves, Earth’s Place in the Universe, Earth’s System’s and Resources, Relative Dating and Fossils, and Life on Earth. Material including notes and practice questions for each unit will be made available on our class Schoology page. Updates will be sent out on a weekly basis through REMIND. I will offer tutoring every Thursday 3:30 to 4:00.
