  • SCHOOL INFORMATION--Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have put the following measures in place to ensure the health and safety of our students, parents, staff, and community.  Those measures consists of admittance to the building by appointment only from 8 am to 1 p.m. Monday-Thursday.  The option to wear mask, face coverings, and/or gloves is left up to the visitor.  You can schedule your appointment by calling the office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 pm. Monday through Thursday.  A temperature check will be conducted before your appointment with a hand held thermometer.


    Parents, guardians, and students registration is currently open for the 2020-2021 school year.  All registration is being handled through Parent Portal.  If you have questions or need assistance please call the school or schedule an appointment following the procedures outlined earlier.  Parents and guardians are also reminded to not attempt to pay any fees seen when you register until after July 15th.  Fees are still being adjusted, and we do not want you to have to repeat the process. 


    Parents, we still have several students with textboooks out.  To avoid fees for lost textbooks, please communicate with your child and make a plan to return all textbooks to the school as soon as possible.  Textbooks can be dropped off Monday-Thursday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.  No appointment is needed to return textbooks.  There is a cart in front of the school.  Textbooks can be left on the cart.  The cart is brought inside daily and textbooks are scanned back into circulation.  If you are unsure if your child has a textbook out, please call the school between the previously mentioned hours.

  • NUTRITIONAL RESOURCES - As the 2019-20 School Year comes to a close and our District prepares and delivers the last meal bags to students on Tuesday, June 2, Aiken County Public Schools has extended its nutrition services throughout the summer months. In partnership with the USDA, the Seamless Summer Program will provide free meals to all children 18 years old and younger at 18 designated sites located throughout the county.

    A grab-and-go meal bag containing breakfast and lunch will be available Monday-Thursday June 8th-July 31st for pick-up from 10:30 a.m.-noon at Aiken Elementary, Belvedere Elementary, Byrd Elementary, Chukker Creek Elementary, Clearwater Elementary, Busbee Elementary, East Aiken School of the Arts, Gloverville Elementary, Graniteville Elementary, Greendale Elementary, Hammond Hill Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, Mossy Creek Elementary, North Aiken Elementary, Oakwood-Windsor Elementary, Ridge Spring-Monetta Elementary, Warrenville Elementary, and Jackson STEM Middle Magnet.

    A parent/guardian must accompany elementary and middle school-aged children while picking up lunches. Additionally, any adult may purchase breakfast for $2.25 and lunch for $3.75. Free adult meals are available to those 19 years and older who have a physical or mental disability and are enrolled in school.

    Details about community organizations providing food to families in need will be located on our website acpsd.net under the Nutritional Resources tab of the Community Channel. Community organizations offering free meals to students and families are encouraged to email communications@acpsd.net to be included in that directory.

  • OPEN ALL SUMMER – If you should need anything this summer, please note that our school will be open all summer, Monday - Thursday with the exception of July 2-5th. Stop by any time from 7:15 a.m. - 5:45 p.m. for support with registration, or for a tour of our school. Please call 803-685-2100 with any questions.

  • ONLINE STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR THE 2020-21 SCHOOL YEAR IS UNDERWAY - Aiken County Public Schools' online rolling student registration for all new and returning students is underway. Parents and guardians of new ACPS students, those who are applying to ACPS Pre-Kindergarten programs and incoming Kindergarten students should click on the words "New Student Registration" to be directed to the new ACPSD student registration page. 

    For parents and guardians of all returning ACPS students, the best way to register online is to click on the words "PowerSchool Parent Portal" to access the link to 2020-21 online registration, which will be located at the bottom left of the page. Simply click the “Returning Student Registration 2020-2021” link to get started.

    Parents who need to set up a Parent Portal account should reach out to their current school for information on how to access the parent portal account. Student Information Clerks will support parents and guardians. Parents and guardians may click on the words "school zone locator" to find their student's zoned school.

    We are looking forward to a terrific 2020-21 school year, and to welcoming back teachers, staff members and students to our respective campuses. Parents and guardians please take advantage of our online student registration as soon as possible.
