This is my ninth year at KMS. I have taught 7th grade English, Social Studies, STEM, and 6th grade Coding. I love teaching. I am a fifth year Full Circle Technology classroom, where we use computers on a daily basis. We use Schoology.com, a learning management system, to submit assignments, grades, contact, and all classwork is housed here. My husband of 30 years, Michael Prandy, also teaches at KMS. Our oldest daughter, Brittany, is a manager with Tinker Federal Credit Union in OKC. Our son, Chancellor, is a sophomore playing basketball at Guilford Tech Community College in Greensboro, North Carolina. Our baby, Mallorie, is a sophomore USC Aiken. I am in my fifth year as the KMS girl's basketball coach and my husband is the current SA boy's basketball coach. This is also our third year to have KMS Lego League, which I sponsor.
Please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or Schoology.com and 803-641-2470.
Homework is assigned on Mondays and is due on Friday. We also implement ICU in our class - Intensive Care Unit - all work is deemed viable and must be completed by all students, therefore students might be required to come in at lunch, before or after school to complete assignments satisfactorily. All tests will be retaken until mastery is achieved. This is quite a process, but I believe if we hold our students accountable on day one they will be more responsible for their own learning by the end of the school year. I saw great results by using this program during the fourth quarter last year. I will send emails and make regular calls to parents to make sure we hold each student accountable. Thanks in advance for your support.
I am excited about our journey together this year!
