REGISTRATION FOR 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR NOW OPEN - Parents and guardians can now register students for the upcoming school year! For students currently enrolled in Aiken County Public Schools, registration is quick and easy. Parents and guardians can register through their Powerschool Parent Portal account. If you do not already have a Parent Portal account created, please contact your child's home school for assistance.
New student registration, including Kindergarten students and students brand new to Aiken County Schools, will also be completed online. Parents and guardians of new students can click here for more information.

Town Hall Meetings Scheduled As The District Seeks Community Input For Highland Springs Middle School Zoning
As Aiken County Public Schools prepares to open its newest state-of-the-art campus, the public is invited to share their input on demographer recommendations for the school’s attendance lines. Town Hall Meetings are scheduled for February 8 at Midland Valley High School and February 9 at North Augusta High School.

District Names Brian Gibbons As Director Of Federal Programs
The District is pleased to announce experienced educator and federal programs coordinator Brian Gibbons has been named Aiken County Public School’s new Director of Federal Programs. Gibbons transitioned into his new role within the Department of Federal Programs where he has faithfully served the students and families of Aiken County as an Instructional Program Support Coordinator for the past five years.

Pope Selected As Interim Assistant Principal At Aiken High School
George Pope has been selected as an interim assistant principal at Aiken High School. Since joining Aiken County in 2012, he has taught physical education and health at Schofield Middle School and North Aiken Elementary School. Prior to his recent administrative assignment, Pope completed the District’s Aspiring Principal Program.

Laughter Lands Principalship At Langley-Bath-Clearwater Middle School
Dr. Brice Laughter appreciates the tight-knit community in the Langley-Bath-Clearwater area, which reminds him of the small mill village where he grew up in Greer. Laughter was recently-named Principal of Langley-Bath Clearwater (LBC) Middle School and began his new position at LBC Monday (January 23, 2023).
