  • HORNET HUT: Come by for your Aiken High Hornet Gear in our indoor Hornet Hut Wednesday!  The hut will be open from 11am - 1pm upstairs in the Business wing.

  • GIRLS AND BOYS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS:  Girls and Boys Basketball Tryouts will begin November 2 in the James Taylor Gym.  To tryout you must have a physical and permission forms completed and uploaded on the website.  Any questions or problems: see Ms. Morgan or Coach Jackson.

  • FOUR DAY FACE TO FACE INSTRUCTION RESUMES: All hybrid  high school students return to four day, face to face instruction on MONDAY, October 26.  All Blue/Red cohort students will report to school Monday through Thursday.  Friday, October 30, will be the final remote learning day.

  • HOMECOMING SPIRIT WEEK: We hope you'll plan on dressing up each day as we celebrate Spirit week here at AHS. Monday: Most Unique, Tuesday: Most Likely to Succeed, Wednesday: Teacher's Pet, Thursday: Best Dressed, Friday: Most School Spirited.

  • WRESTLING FUNDRAISER: We still have a few spots left for the “Aiken High School Wrestling” Golf tournament fundraiser this weekend (10/31). Gather your team and come help support these student-athletes. We will have prizes for the top placing teams (men and women), prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin, silent auction with lots of golf packages and more, Chicken Perlo bowls, and more. Come get your Halloween started supporting a good cause.   • Felton Honored in Region and Augusta Chronicle

    RJ Felton made an impact the game every time he stepped on the court for Aiken High School. Even if he wasn’t scoring, he’d get a rebound and get into transition. If teams collapsed on him, he’d add to his assist total.

  • AHS Jazz Band Shines

    AHS Jazz Band receives superior ratings. The Jazz Performance Assessment was held at Newberry College, Newberry SC on February 29th, 2020. The Jazz Band received a Superior Rating for their performance, the highest rating awarded. The AHS jazz band is pictured with world famous trombone player Steve Wiest, who was the guest artist for the clinic this year.
