Learning Strategies is an elective course available for students who are working towards a state high school diploma. This course is designed to develop, strengthen, and improve skills for positive academic and functional performance. Students will receive direct instruction utilizing a rotation model that includes one-to-one, small group, whole group, and computer-assisted instruction. Students will be served in multiple areas, determined by baseline data, to include math, language, and transition services to prepare them to be college- and career-ready. Students will be able to demonstrate acquired skills in the areas of communication, vocational training, college applications, core academic studies, student support services, and test preparation.
