  • Brenson Baker Places 1st Place

    Thursday, February, 2019, Brinson Baker placed 1st place in the Braille Challenge Apprentice Novice Division. The SC Regional Braille challege is a preliminary contest for the National Braille challenge offered by the Braille Institute in California. This contest has a tremendous impact on the lives of students with a visual impairment by allowing them to participate in an academic contest designed around their specific skill sets and by allowing them the opportunity to interact with others from around the state that also read and write braille. Many of the students who participate in the Braille Challenge develop a boost in self-confidence, a sense a accomplishment, and a renewed passion for reading and writing braille.

  • Golden Apple Award

    WJBF News Channnel 6, qlong with Augusta Flooring and Publics Grocery Stores presented Mr. Sirk the Golden Apple Award. This award is presented to a teacher because someone writes a recommendation telling why the teacher is an exemplary teacher. We are proud of Mr. Sirk.
