    On Thursday, January 9th, fifth graders Victor Salazar and Jaq-Leyah Council, competed in the Group 4 Spelling Bee at Ridge Spring-Monetta Elementary.  They competed against the winners from North Aiken, Aiken Intermediate, Ridge Spring-Monetta Elementary and Ridge Spring-Monetta Middle.  Our very own Jaq-Leyah Council placed 2nd and will go on to compete in the District Spelling Bee on Thursday, February 6th at the AECOM building in Aiken. She will compete against other region winners for a chance to compete in the National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. in May. Congratulations Jaq-Leyah!

  • MEDICAL AND DENTAL SERVICES OFFERED - Rural Health Services has partnered with J.D. Lever Elementary to provide students with dental and medical services on the Clyburn Community Health Express Mobile Unit. Registration forms can be obtained on the Nursing Services section of Aiken County Public School District's website. For more information please contact the school nurse or call (803) 219-1926.

  • PREPARE FOR FAMILY EMERGENCIES WITH SMART911 - We are fortunate in Aiken County to have access to a free service called SMART911. The service allows families to register their homes and occupants for the purpose of providing law enforcement and first responders with immediate access to life-saving information in the event of a call for help to 911. During an actual emergency, first responders will have this vital information relayed to them before they arrive. Signing up is fast, easy, and free!     Our Kids Heart Challenge will kick off this Thursday (15 February). 


    Students will have until March 1st to raise money for the American Heart Association.  Money can only be turned in on March 1st.  All money will be turned in to Coach Bolton.  More details as we get closer to 1 March....

    Kids Heart Challenge

    Every morning starting on 15 February, Students, Coach Bolton will call on stage students who have coupons proving that they have pledges for $5.00.  

    Look for more information in your take home papers on Thursday, 15 February.......

    Yearbook Money is being accepted. Please only send in money on Wednesdays and Fridays. Yearbooks are $20 and the last day to order will be March 19th. Please make sure to fill out envelopes completely and send in to Mrs. Walton.
