Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Meredith Noland
Hello! My name is Mrs. Meredith Noland and I will be teaching visual arts this school year. I am so grateful to be joining the Warrenville and Gloverville families. I am starting my 17th year in education and I am excited to get back to my first love, teaching art. My experience includes two years teaching high school, eight years in elementary school, and six years in administration. I have a BFA in Art Education from USC, a Master’s in Education from SWU, and an Ed.S in Educational Leadership from ASU.
Being involved in the arts has allowed me to explore so many mediums and discover in myself capabilities that I did not know I had. In my journey, I have learned to be a critical thinker, a problem solver, a risk taker, and most of all to trust in the artistic process and myself. My hope for our students is that they will experience some of these things in the art room and develop a love of learning new things.
I have been married for 21 years and we have two mostly grown children, Ryan - 20 and Madeline - 18. We are a Gamecock family (or at least my bank statements say so). I love to try new things, build furniture, make signs, and do small home projects, preferably 3 or more at a time so I can frustrate my family. We have two pets, Archibald Clover (aka Archie), a 6 year old Collie/Lab mix, and Ollie Beau (aka Mr. Cat) a 6 month old, very naughty, kitten.
I look forward to meeting you all and becoming part of your great school families.
