  • BOOKMOBILE ~ We are pleased to announce that the ABBE Regional Library System bookmobile is making Graniteville Elementary School a stop.  The bookmobile will be in our parking lot every other Tuesday from 2 to 3 p.m.  Here are the dates the bookmobile will be here:  June 8,  June 22,  July 6,  July 20,  August 3,  August 17,  August 31

What is the bookmobile?  It is a moving library!  The bookmobile delivers books to you!  The bookmobile manager can give you a library card and show you how to "order" books that they can deliver to you at our stop.  Bookmobile services are available to anyone that lives or works in Aiken, Bamberg, Barnwell, and Edgefield counties.  You need proof of residency such as a water bill, or electric bill and a picture ID.    For those that just work in these counties, you need proof of your employment in these counties such as a pay stub.
The library also has electronic books that you can check out using your Kindle, Nook, iPad, or other electronic device.  They use the CloudLibrary app and Hoopla.  Both supply you with bestsellers and other popular fiction and nonfiction.
