Hey there! My name is Dane Griffith and I am thrilled to be teaching Spanish 1 again at Paul Knox Middle School and North Augusta Middle School this year! This is now my 4th year teaching Spanish and I am looking forward to learning and growing with these students throughout the school year.

I moved here from Columbus, Ohio where I grew up. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2013. There, I was fortunate enough to do two study abroad experiences- one in Mexico and one in Costa Rica. I have also been on wonderful trips through Cabo San Lucas, Puerta Vallarta, Mazatlan, Roatán, Belize, Merida, Cozumel, Madrid, Barcelona, Amsterdam, London, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic, and Half Moon Cay and Bimini in the Bahamas.

This summer I am looking forward to joining my best friend and soulmate in marriage, and making the most of trips back home to Ohio, to Tennessee for vacation, and I can't forget the honeymoon cruise!
