Ms. Dawn Rezvani
My name is Dawn Rezvani, and I am proud to be teaching at Wagener-Salley High School! This is going on my third year at the school, but I have been teaching over 10 years in one capacity or another. I left teaching at a community college in Maryland to be able to be a full-time teacher in Aiken County.
I am currently pursuing my master's degree in teaching at University of South Carolina in an online capacity built for teachers already working in the field and it will be completed in December of 2021. I am finally happy that I can take this accomplishement off of my bucket list!
I know the last part of the school year was an intersting experience for all- it was not easy for you as parents to take on the role of teaching your student(s) and for that I am (and other teachers) forever grateful for your assistance.
As we embark on a new school year, it is going to take some grace and patience for all. This new hybrid model is new to us teachers as well, so give us some time to get into a routine just like it will take time for staff and students to get use to doing some homework at home on their off days.
Masks are required to be worn by students while on the school bus and when in the hallway during transitions. Also, masks must be worn when students are in large groups, such as in the cafeteria and removed when eating. If a teacher asks students to keep their mask on in their classroom, please remind your student(s) to be respectful and follow each teacher's rules with masks and social distancing.
