Mrs. Michelle Showman
Hello, my name is Michelle Showman and I will be teaching first grade for the 2022-2023 school year. This year will be my sixth year teaching at Redcliffe Elementary and my fifth year in first grade. I am formally known as Miss Holthaus before I got married in January of 2022. I am originally from a little town called Fort Loramie, Ohio. I went to Bowling Green State University in Ohio to get my Bachelor’s degree in Inclusive early childhood.
This year will be a little different due to the fact that I will be expecting my first child in October! I can't wait to take on the adventure of being a mother! Some more fun facts about me include that I love to run and hike. I love learning about new trails to explore and there are so many beautiful ones in the South Carolina/Georgia area. I also love to read, spend time with my dog, play the piano, travel, and just hang out with friends and family as much as I can. Lastly, my passion is teaching, especially teaching students to read. My goal every year is for my students to love reading as much or more than me. I can't wait for the adventure that this school year holds and all the learning we will be doing this year!
I can be reached at (803) 827-3350 or you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I want to make this year as easy for parents and students as possible!
Schoology will be the primary sight in which your child will doing their virtual learning. From there, they will be able to access all the other apps and websites they will need for classes.
