My name is Cynthia Kenner, and I'm excxired about my fith year at North Aiken Elementary as a Special Education Teacher. I've earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Community Health Education from The City University of New York-York College in 1996. I've then attended Touro College in Brooklyn, NY to further my education and earned my initial Master's Degree in Special Education. I've chosen Special Education as a path of study because I'm very passionate about helping individuals with disabilities excel to their fullest potential. In 2004, I became a graduate of Alfred University, Alfred NY, earning my second Master's degree in School Counseling. I have a background in BehaviorManagement through being a Lead Teacher in the Alternative Middle and high schools for over 10 years in. Throughout my many years in education I've taught Adult Education, High School Biology and World History, Middle School Physical Science, Elementary school in addition to Home Instruction, various subjects for medically fragile students throughout the City of New York. I enjoy cycling, painting, dancing, playing soccer and volleyball with my three daughters. I'm excited about another year of assisting my students to make good choices, learn, excel and later become great citizens of their communities.
