In partnership with our community, the mission of Jefferson Elementary School is to provide all students with a safe, stimulating, child-centered environment that prepares them to become productive and contributing citizens in an ever-changing society. It is our objective that each student, faculty, and staff member at Jefferson Elementary be exposed to quality educational experiences that will ensure that they reach their maximum potential and become life-long learners.

THE QUEST ZONE SUMMER REMIX ADVENTURE CAMP - Jefferson Elementary School will be a host site for The Quest Zone's Summer Remix Adventure Camp for all elementary students from June 6 – August 5, 2022! Camps will be held Monday through Friday, and will be closed the week of July 4th, with no long-term commitment - parents and guardians can decide what days or week they want their child to attend.
The Quest Zone offers unique activities and adventures, academic programs to help students prepare for the upcoming school year, and fresh, healthy meals and snacks. To register or learn more, please click The Quest Zone Summer Remix Adventure Camp. -

Jones played softball collegiately as a four-year starter and three-year team captain at the University of South Carolina Aiken from 2010 to 2013.

Seamless Summer Program Offers Free Breakfast and Lunch for Aiken County Youth at Six Schools
Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch is served from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at each campus. Adults are welcome to purchase breakfast and lunch.

ACPSD celebrated the Class of 2022 during graduation ceremonies June 1-3, 2022. The graduating class earned a total of $58,070,249 in scholarship dollars!

The annual grant program recognizes and celebrates innovative teaching methods by providing funds to enhance elementary and middle school classroom instruction.

Matt Shepler Appointed Assistant Principal At South Aiken High School For 2022-23 School Year
He earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University, and a master's degree in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton.
