Aiken County Public Schools will hold registration throughout the summer again this year. Parents/Guardians will have the opportunity to enroll their students online, which will save considerable time when you attend your school's registration day. As part of online registration, you may submit required information, including bus transportation, pay registration fees, submit residency verification documents, and apply for Free/Reduced lunches if applicable. Parents of bus riders should complete the online form as soon as possible to provide proper notification to the Department of Transportation. The online registration process should take less than five(5) minutes per student. Please visit our district Power School Portal at:
At Greendale we use Accelerated Reader as a motivational tool to encourage reading and enhance comprehension. While we are out of school students can access their AR account using the Accelerated Reader link below. Remember that this tool is teacher monitored and students should only take test on books that they have read or have been read to them. Taking test on unfamiliar books will likely lower their average. Incentives will only be given to students who reach their monthly goal and maintain an average above 70%.
Reading Renaissance has over 180,000 Accelerated Reader test. Not sure if your book has a test? These books do not have to come from your school or classroom library. Want to check to see if your book has a test? Use the link below to check and see before you begin reading it.
Don't have books at home? Or you've read all of the ones you do have? Use the link below to view some virtual picture book read alouds. It might be best to listen to them twice before you take the test!
