OPEN ALL SUMMER - If you should need anything this summer, please note that our school's office will be open Monday - Thursday with the exception of July 2nd - July 5th. Stop by anytime for 7:15am - 5:45pm for support with registration.
Aiken County Public Schools will hold registration throughout the summer again this year. Parents/Guardians will have the opportunity to enroll their students online, which will save considerable time when you attend your school's registration day. As part of online registration, you may submit required information, including bus transportation, pay registration fees, submit residency verification documents, and apply for Free/Reduced lunches if applicable. Parents of bus riders should complete the online form as soon as possible to provide proper notification to the Department of Transportation. The online registration process should take less than five(5) minutes per student. Please visit our district Power School Portal at:
DISTRICT REMINDER REGARDING DO-NOT-PHOTO/VIDEO PARENT REQUESTS
Aiken County Public School District procedures regarding do-not-photo/video requests state that each new school year during the school registration process, parents who wish to “opt out” their children from participation in photo or video opportunities at school must submit that request in writing to the ACPSD Communications Department.
The letter should be addressed to Director of Communications Mike Rosier at 1000 Brookhaven Drive, Aiken SC, 29803. It should state which student or students they wish the request to include, as well as their home school location or locations.
PLEASE NOTE: If no letter is on file, students are automatically opted in for photo, video, and media opportunities in our schools as they arise.
We welcome parents who wish to opt their children out of all photos and videos to submit a letter to us at any point prior to the end of October.
The school's lead counselor will serve her alma mater in a new capacity as she transitions to assistant principal in July.
Mr. Lobaugh currently serves as the assistant principal at Oakwood-Windsor Elementary School, and will begin his duties as Gloverville Elementary School principal in July.
