Dear Clearwater Elementary School Family and Community,
It is an honor to introduce myself as the new principal of Clearwater Elementary School for the 2021-2022 school year. As a graduate of Midland Valley High School, I am thrilled to serve and give back to this community. It is my goal to continue the wonderful things that are taking place at Clearwater Elementary. I will strive to provide an atmosphere of openness and collaboration among staff, students and families. I am committed to caring and loving your children while providing them an elite learning environment in preparation for college and career readiness.
I have worked for Aiken County Public Schools for the entirety of my educational career. I have taught second, third, fourth, and fifth grades. After receiving my degree in Educational Leadership, I served as Assistant Principal at Redcliffe Elementary and, currently, Mossy Creek Elementary for the past ten years. My past experiences in education have prepared me for the principalship.I believe all students will be successful and achieve their educational goals when they are supported by parents, teachers and staff who work collaboratively together and believe in their potential. I am devoted to ensuring the students at Clearwater Elementary are provided a high level of education where parents feel they are welcomed and become partners in their children’s education.
On a personal note, I am married and have two children. Emily is weeks away from graduating from high school and Ethan is in the 8th grade. I grew up in the North Augusta and Midland Valley community and I am thrilled to serve the students in the area in which I graduated High School.
In closing, please remember that I am always available to answer any questions, listen to any concerns, and welcome your input and feedback. While I do not officially begin until July, I will be visiting the school periodically. In the meantime, feel free to reach out via email. I look forward to all the amazing things in store for Clearwater Elementary in the upcoming school year.
Sincerely,
Leslie Lowe
