Welcome to Belvedere Elementary where we have one mission: to develop citizenship, leadership, and higher-order thinking skills. We are excited about this school year and look forward to the many activities and opportunities planned for our students!
SPRING BOOK FAIR - The Book Fair will continue to have a modified schedule with students only shopping during scheduled times, and only when they have funds with which to shop.
There are two ways to shop:
- In Person Book Fair - There are several ways to pay at the in person fair: Students may bring cash or checks made out to BES PTO. Checks must be for exact amounts including 8% sales tax as no change can be given. Parents can also choose to create Scholastic eWallet accounts. Use the link to setup an account for your student that can be loaded with the dollar amount of your choice using a credit card. Be aware that leftover funds will not be refunded but converted to a Scholastic gift card to be used online. Scholastic eWallet accounts are not the same as Scholastic gift cards. eWallets are available to the student automatically through the book fair cash register.
- Scholastic Online Book Fair - shop the entire Scholastic store for books and fun items to order and benefit BES. These items will ship to home free with a $25 minimum book order.
Please check out the Virtual Book Fair to browse the in-person fair by clicking the provided link, then selecting elementary on the book fair image and touring the cases virtually. You can even click on the individual books to take a closer look! When you see something you like, you can order it from the website or your student can come to the fair and shop for the item in person!
Our Fair helps to raise funds for library books and student programs. Thank you for supporting our Book Fair!
Ai SUPPORT RESOURCES - Check out the new menu item under Acadmics - AIKEN iNNOVATE for a link to the district webpage, BES Ai teacher links, and Ai web resources via Symbaloo. The Symbaloo link menu is also shown below. You can find a broader selection of helpful links on the Media Center web page, by selecting Academics, then look for the Symbaloo link.
ACPSD APP - Aiken County Public School District has an app for your smartphone that allows you to access a ton of district and Belvedere Elementary School information all in one place! The ACPSD App can be found in iTunes or search your Android marketplace for the ACPSD app.
PREPARE FOR FAMILY EMERGENCIES WITH SMART911 - We are fortunate in Aiken County to have access to a free service called SMART911. The service allows families to register their homes and occupants for the purpose of providing law enforcement and first responders with immediate access to life-saving information in the event of a call for help to 911. During an actual emergency, first responders will have this vital information relayed to them before they arrive. Signing up is fast, easy, and free! Click HERE to view the SMART911 flyer for some great safety tips for students, or visit online at www.smart911.com for more information.
