MLK ESSAY POSTER CONTEST- We're excited to share that all Aiken County Public School students have an opportunity to submit a poster or essay for the community-wide celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., hosted by Aiken Technical College and the University of South Carolina Aiken! Thank you to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Steering Committee and the U of SC Aiken’s Inclusion Advisory Council for inviting our students to submit an original poster or written essay. Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade can submit creative visual posters that depict the question, “What does the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day mean to you?” and students in 6th through 12th grade can submit an essay answering, “What does it mean when Dr. King said, 'Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere’?”.All entries are due by Friday, December 4th, and contest winners will be announced on or before December 21st. District School Food Services Offers Pre-Ordered Take Home Meals to Students -
ATTENTION ACPSD PARENTS AND GUARDIANS - To ensure meal availability for every student regardless of his/her instructional model, Aiken County Public Schools’ Food Service Department has provided meal options for any student wishing to participate.
Orders do not automatically renew from week-to-week. Families will want to place their order each week.
