CLEAR BAG PROCEDURE FOR ATHLETIC EVENTS - Effective beginning the 2022-23 school year, Aiken County Public School District has adopted a clear bag procedure for all home athletic events. Spectators will be permitted to carry one clear tote bag not to exceed 12” x 6” x 12” or a Ziplock style bag no larger than one gallon. A small clutch purse not to exceed 4.5” x 6.5” may also be carried. Seat cushions are permitted as long as they are no larger than 16” and do not include arms or pockets. No diaper bags or camera bags will be allowed.

Laughter Lands Principalship At Langley-Bath-Clearwater Middle School
Dr. Brice Laughter appreciates the tight-knit community in the Langley-Bath-Clearwater area, which reminds him of the small mill village where he grew up in Greer. Laughter was recently-named Principal of Langley-Bath Clearwater (LBC) Middle School and began his new position at LBC Monday (January 23, 2023).

Taylor Selected For Interim Role As Director Of Special Programs
Beth Taylor has served the students and families of Aiken County Public Schools since 2002. Her work with XSEL, the social emotional learning program she helped launch in 2020 for elementary school students as a tier-three behavioral intervention, will continue throughout her interim role as Director of Special Programs.

District Now Accepting Aiken iNNOVATE Applications For 2023-24 Virtual Program
Aiken iNNOVATE, the district's full-time virtual program for students in grades 6-12, is now accepting applications for the 2023-24 school year. Interested students should complete their application by February 15.
