Welcome to my website. My name is Mr. Nelson and I am one of the band directors at South Aiken High School. I also teach guitar, music appreciation, and AP Music Theory. The 2022-2023 school year will be my 11th at South Aiken and my 18th year overall as an educator in North Carolina, Louisiana, and South Carolina. My wife is a professional violinist/violist and also a special education teacher in Augusta and all three of our children attend school here in Aiken.

I am available for additional help during WIN Time by appointment either first or second half. Please schedule with me prior to WIN Time to make sure I will be there when you want to come for help.
