DAY OF CARING: SEPTEMBER 21 - This year, each ACPSD school is giving back to their communities during the Day of Caring. Paul Knox Middle School will be working in conjunction with NA Stormwater Management to adopt the Leroy Hammond Park which is right beside North Augusta High School. Grounds maintenance will be providing large yard waste bags for pinecone pick up. If anyone can bring rakes or pruners, they have also asked the adults participating to redistribute pine straw as mulch and cut down the small saplings. We will begin at 9:00am. Please print and bring the completed wavier with you on September 21: Waiver. We look forward to a great event.

STUDY BUDDY FOR SIXTH GRADE- Parents, does your sixth grader need help with school? Do they need a study buddy? If so, you're in luck! The Study Buddy group will start on Monday, September 23, 2019. We will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays in the Media Center from 3:15pm - 3:45 pm. We will help them study for classes they may be struggling in and help with homework. SPACE CAMP INFORMATIONAL MEETING - Space Camp Informational Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 17 at 5:30 in the PKMS Cafeteria for ANY 7th Grader that has at least 1 advanced course this year and is interested in attending Space Camp. See Mrs. Goodwin with any questions.

The community workforce development collaborative will host a six-week tour of Aiken County high school football games with a tailgate village set up prior to Friday night games.
Student and staff volunteers at each school are looking forward to serving their community on Saturday, September 21st in a wide variety of projects.
Veteran administrator King Laurence has been appointed by the Aiken County Board of Education as the Interim Superintendent for Aiken County Public Schools.
