CONGRATULATIONS to Katherine Ellis who will be representing Paul Knox in the Aiken County SCRIPPS NATIONAL SPELLING BEE Finals on Monday, February 1! The event will be held at the Amentum Center for Performing Arts, 126 Newberry Street SW, Aiken, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The winner of this Spelling Bee will advance to the Regional Spelling Bee that will be held at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte in March and have an opportunity to go on to the National Finals this June.
Due to social distancing, the Amentum Center for Performing Arts will be kept at a lower capacity than normal so the event will be livestreamed, courtesy of the Aiken Standard, and available on the Aiken Standard website as well as the Aiken Standard Facebook page.

SPELLING BEE WINNERS - Congratulations to our Paul Knox Spelling Bee winners! Jalen Aranda (8th) and Katie Ellis (8th) were our first-place winners. Izabella Brower (7th) and Price O'Neal (7th) were our second-place winners. Congratulations to all of our wonderful Patriot spellers!
