USC-A BASKETBALL GAME - FREE tickets for the WHOLE family to the February 1st USC-A basketball game have been provided to celebrate Leavelle McCampbell Middle School night! Students, wear your house shirts! There will be a house battle on the court at half time! Vouchers will be given to students closer to game day.

SPRING BOOK FAIR – The book fair will run Wednesday, February 15th through Friday, February 24th, from 8:00 to 2:45, each day except for Friday when we will close at 1:30.

- Scholastic Digital Flyer - see what great books are available at the in person fair
- Scholastic Online Book Fair - shop the entire Scholastic store for books and fun items to order and benefit LMMS. These items will ship to home free with a $25 minimum book order.
Students have an opportunity to shop the book fair during their ELA time. There will be additional shopping time during first and sixth period daily, as well as the last two days of the fair.
Guardians can deposit money for students to use at the book fair in Scholastic eWallet accounts. To find out more, click the eWallet link. Checks made out to LMMS PTO are also accepted but must be made out for the exact amount charged.
Guardians, use our sign up genius to volunteer at the book fair, we would love to have your help! Our Fair helps to raise funds for library books and student programs. Thank you for supporting our Book Fair!

VOLUNTEER TRAINING - If you are interested in being a future chaperone or volunteer at LMMS please complete the online volunteer training and application as soon as possible. We have some upcoming field trips. The training is virtual. Please follow the link: https://www.acpsd.net/Page/58324
If you are interested in chaperoning for field trips, you will need to bring your Drivers License into the front office for a background check.

Laughter Lands Principalship At Langley-Bath-Clearwater Middle School
Dr. Brice Laughter appreciates the tight-knit community in the Langley-Bath-Clearwater area, which reminds him of the small mill village where he grew up in Greer. Taylor Selected For Interim Role As Director Of Special Programs
Beth Taylor has served the students and families of Aiken County Public Schools since 2002. Her work with XSEL, the social emotional learning program she helped launch in 2020 for elementary school students as a tier-three behavioral intervention, will continue throughout her interim role as Director of Special Programs.

Aiken iNNOVATE, the district's full-time virtual program for students in grades 6-12, is now accepting applications for the 2023-24 school year. Interested students should complete their application by February 15.
