  • Parents, if you have any labels for education please collect them and bring them to the library.  The program will continue until August 1, 2017, so we can still collect some labels.

The PTO collects Boxtops for Education throughout the  year.  Please attach them to the sheets provided by your child's teacher and return.

These programs are a wonderful way for the school to earn extra money for programs at JES.

  • VOLUNTEER PROCEDURES – Additional safety measures have become part of Aiken County Public Schools’ volunteer requirements this year. To ensure the safety of our students and preparation of our volunteers, we are implementing the changes as follows:

If you have already completed volunteer training this school year:

    • We are sending home newly required forms which must be filled out and returned, along with a copy of your drivers’ license, before serving in our school.
    • After we receive these forms form you, we will complete appropriate background clearance before volunteering may begin.

If you have NOT yet completed volunteer training:

    • You must attend training in order to volunteer at our school or chaperone a field trip.  This training will include the newly updated forms.
    • Volunteer trainings will be held on Parent/Teacher Conference Day at 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m

Thank you, in advance, for your cooperation as we implement additional safety measures.
